This pillow is amazing, I never used one with my first child and I'm not sure how I managed without it. It's soft but firm enough to hold the weight as my baby has grown. I bring it everywhere with me now. It's especially great if I'm out and my chair/seat has no arm rests on it. It's so much easier on your back and shoulders. Definitely worth it.
